Sheridan begins the final battle against President Clark.

Synopsis

A resistance strike team on Mars, working with Franklin, Lyta and Garibaldi, slip Shadow-altered telepaths aboard a fleet of thirty (out of 36) Earthforce destroyers which have been ordered to head off an inevitable attack from Sheridan's rebel and White Star fleets.

The delaying fleet is commanded by General Robert Lefcourt, Sheridan's tactical instructor from the academy, who assumes that his old pupil will emerge from hyperspace near Mars -- and he does. However, at that moment, Lyta signals the telepaths to awaken and interface with the computers aboard the Earthforce destroyers, effectively shutting down their fleet.

Sheridan's fleet, minus Marcus and his White Star, quickly jumps to Earth to liberate the planet from President Clark, who attempts destroy Earth if he cannot rule it himself.

As Sheridan's fleet leaves Mars for the crucial battle at Earth, Marcus slips away to perform his final duty aboard Babylon 5. (Attrib: B5 LogBook [1])
