Sierra On-Line is proud to announce the eagerly awaited and anticipated Babylon 5 space combat game for PC CD-ROM. Slated to ship late 1999, the game will feature real-time 3D, first person space combat combined with a dynamic game AI system and a robust strategy component. All of this will combine with a detailed simulation of J. Michael Straczynski's richly detailed Babylon 5 universe to create unlimited replayability, challenging conflicts and adrenaline-pumping action.

Players will be able to experience the game as both a story-driven single player game as well as go head-to-head in ruthless or cooperative multiplayer games. The game will immerse the player in a rich, detailed recreation of the Babylon 5 universe, complete with its fascinating variety of aliens, ships and planets.

In addition to Sierra's own in-house talent, the title will utilize the powerhouse talents of Babylon 5's own special effects group, Netter Digital, and it will feature the musical virtuosity of the Babylon 5 TV show's own composer Christopher Franke. Selected members of the cast will also be featured in the game as well, with original scenes being shot on the actual Babylon 5 sets. This potent gathering of creative and technical forces will ensure players the most immersive, exciting and action-packed space combat experience yet.
