The pre-alpha demo of the game, featuring newly added spacecraft and high-resolution models, was available for conference attendees to try during the entire duration of the show. Sierra outfitted each of the ten multiplayer stations with Microsoft's high-end Sidewinder Joysticks, and a few lucky gamers were able to try out Intersor's force feedback gaming chair.

Saturday evening, Sierra FX joined with Precedence, maker of the Babylon 5 card game, to host a VIP cocktail party. During the party, the new Babylon 5 Space Combat Simulator trailer debuted, drawing good response from the many Babylon 5 cast members and other series experts in attendance.
