SIERRA NEWS UPDATE
Babylon 5 Shows at GenCon
Epic Gaming Convention Plays Host to Sierra Software Demonstration

Aug.19.99
Sierra traveled to the GenCon gamefair, August 6-9 1998 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to demonstrate the upcoming titles Quest for Glory V: Dragon Fire and Babylon 5: Space Combat Simulator.

The Starfury is Hung With CareDragon Fire is the last installment in game designer Lori Cole's highly acclaimed Quest for Glory series. In 1989, the original Quest for Glory: So You Want to Be a Hero? was the first game to blend a role playing element with the popular adventure game genre of the late 80's. Nearly a decade later, Quest for Glory V continues to break new ground with ambitious panoramic backgrounds and an entirely new interface. Dragon Fire is Lori Cole's fifth adventure game.

Fans of the television show were able to fly the Babylon 5: Space Combat Simulator multiplayer prototype on display below a ten foot model of a Starfury spacecraft. B5 television star Claudia Christian was at the event to meet the fans and sign autographs.

The Babylon 5: Space Combat Simulator is due for a late 1999 release.
